Balmain Markets are a tight squeeze in the grounds of the local church. The food takes over inside and the bric a brac has the beautiful treed courtyard pegged. Pre-loved clothes are abundant as are homewares, hand made candles and the like. If you can’t find anything to spend your money on at the market, don’t despair, Balmain is an excellent spot for a beer, a game of pool and a not so traditional pub lunch
